Unfortunately, Netgear routers do not support setting up VPNs; you can only use the router as a VPN server to create your own private network. However, flashing custom firmware like DD-WRT and Tomato enables VPN support.
You’ll need a Netgear Router and an active OysterVPN subscription to start the setup process. If you don’t already have a subscription, click here to subscribe.
Flash your router with DD-WRT or Tomato firmware
