However, small changes to the OysterVPN software or your machine can help you fix such concerns. If your current network is causing you trouble regularly, your first move should be to try a different network. Even if you’ve examined your connection without a VPN and are certain everything is alright on your end, it’s still a good idea to go through this step and rule out this as a possible cause of your problems.
IPv6 is a networking protocol used by various Internet networks. Unfortunately, OysterVPN does not currently support IPv6; thus, if you have it on your network, you may experience connectivity troubles.
On your network, certain network providers may have enabled network security mechanisms. Parental controls or a “Safe DNS” feature are the most common examples of such features. This can be accomplished by configuring custom DNS on your router.
