How to Troubleshoot Streaming Issues?

OysterVPN will assist you in gaining secure access to a variety of streaming providers. However, to securely access the streaming service, you may need to make certain changes to your device or the OysterVPN app. If the streaming website/app does not appear to work after connecting to the OysterVPN server, consider some of the alternatives listed below.

Try Connecting To Another Oystervpn Server

If you are trying to connect with a server in the US and it seems unavailable, you should better switch to a server in a different country. In such a situation, you can opt for a server in Canada.

Clear Your Browser’s/Cache From Streaming App

Some websites may still receive information from your browser that was previously collected. Clear the browser cache or uninstall and reinstall the streaming software to get rid of it.

Check To See If You Were Able To Connect To The OysterVPN Server

Your private IP and DNS addresses should be hidden after connecting to one of the OysterVPN servers. Cross check whether your IP address is hidden after connecting to the OysterVPN or not! Your IP or DNS address may “leak” if something interferes with your VPN connection.

Open Your Browser In Incognito (Private Browsing) Mode

Ø Go to the streaming website.

Ø Then, by hitting CTRL+SHIFT+N or CTRL+SHIFT+P on your keyboard, you can enter Incognito mode.

Turn Off The GPS Of Your Location

Make sure the GPS location tracking on your Smartphone is turned off if you’re trying to use a streaming service. Then, restart your Smartphone and give it another shot.
