How To Set Up OysterVPN on Linux

  1. Download OysterVPN’s OpenVPN files from here.
  2. Launch Terminal in Linux.
  3. Type sudo apt-get install network-manager-openvpn-gnome.
  4. Click on the network icon in the top-right corner and go to settings.
  5. Now, add a VPN connection by clicking the “+“.
  6. Select Import from file.
  7. Navigate to the OpenVPN folder on your system and pick a .ovpn file (TCP or UDP).
  8. Enter the information in the relevant fields. Type in your OysterVPN username and password for authentication.
  9. Click on the Add button.
  10. You can now connect to this VPN connection from the icon dock.
